NIPNews may review submissions and has no obligation to accept, publish, retain, or archive any submission.
Contributors must have the rights necessary to submit photographs and information.

NIPNews minimizes personal data and separates private account data from public documentary records.
Anonymous contributions follow the approved severance process; NIPNews does not promise that any system is universally untraceable.
Deletion and retention follow operational, legal-hold, backup, and lifecycle rules.
Data & Privacy Transparency
Data We Keep
NIPNews keeps the data needed to operate accounts, evaluate contributions, and maintain the public documentary record under the approved retention rules.
Data We Don’t Keep
NIPNews does not intentionally maintain a hidden archive of material it cannot appropriately publish.
Anonymous Contributions
After Anonymous publication, NIPNews severs the routine application relationship between the contributor and the public Photo Record.
Deletion & Retention
Deletion, legal preservation, vendor retention, and encrypted rotating backups follow the approved lifecycle rules.
Law-Enforcement Requests
NIPNews complies with valid subpoenas, court orders, warrants, and other lawful legal process; it can only provide information it actually possesses.
Third-Party Services
Third-party processing is subject to NIPNews retention, data-use, deletion, and Anonymous privacy requirements; material limitations must be disclosed.
Backups
Backups are not used to restore individually deleted content, and Anonymous uploader-identification data is excluded from long-term backups where technically feasible.
