Authentic Photographs
Pictures must be authentic photographs of real people, places, events, and moments. Fabricated or AI-generated images are not accepted as documentary photographs.
Factual Information
Location, date, caption, provenance, and other factual details should be accurate and may be reviewed or corrected.
People, Privacy, and Safety
People should not ordinarily be the sole subject unless the photograph documents a qualifying public occurrence or other approved context. Privacy and safety protections apply.
Anonymous Contributions
Approved Anonymous publication severs the routine account-to-photo management relationship after publication.
Reports and Review
Anyone may request review of published content through the approved attributable report process.
