Photo Guidelines

Use these guidelines when contributing pictures to [Community].

1. Use authentic photographs, not fabricated or AI-generated images.
2. Provide a specific factual location; Unknown is not accepted as a location.
3. Provide the best capture date available and label approximate dates honestly.
4. Avoid repetitive near-duplicate submissions.
5. Do not submit images whose primary purpose is advertising or organizational promotion through a personal account.
6. Provide provenance or photographer information when known.
7. Respect privacy and safety, especially for minors and vulnerable people.
8. Do not artificially upscale low-resolution photographs beyond a useful display size.
